- Applicants must have a non-EU fee status, and their tuition fees must be billed at a non-EU rate.
- Students from China are not eligible to apply for the Global Excellence Scholarship.
- Business, engineering, natural sciences, and computer science and statistics courses are exempt from this scholarship programme.
